Governor Alex Otti of Abia State, has congratulated a Methodist cleric, Dr. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha on the occasion of his Priesthood Ordination and elevation to the rank of Archbishop of the Methodist Church Nigeria.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Friday through the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, Governor Otti, stated that this milestone conferred by the Prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence, Dr. Oliver Ali Aba, at the Hoares Memorial Cathedral, is a confirmation that Archbishop Onuoha has been dedicated and committed to the service of the Almighty God and humanity.
The Governor appreciated the brand new Archbishop for his exemplary service and also noted that his appointment is a source of pride for Abia State.
Otti, while congratulating Archbishop Onuoha on behalf of the Government and people of Abia State, also felicitated with Archbishop Onuoha and prayed that God will continue to guide and bless him in his new role.
The statement reads: “The Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, extends warm congratulations to Bishop Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha on the occasion of his Priesthood Ordination and elevation to the esteemed rank of Archbishop of the Methodist Church Nigeria.
“This significant milestone, conferred by the Prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence, Dr. Oliver Ali Aba, at the Hoares Memorial Cathedral, is a testament to Archbishop Onuoha’s dedication and commitment to the service of the Almighty God and humanity.
