‎Kalu Woos Erondu Jnr to Join APC

‎Benjamin Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, has called on Abians to ensure the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

‎Kalu made the statement at the weekend during a visit to the member representing Obingwa-West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Uchenna Erondu Jnr, in Umuahia, to encourage his defection to the All Progressives Congress and support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.
‎
‎He lauded the President’s policies, stating their positive impact on citizens and highlighting his bold decision-making.
‎
‎Kalu appreciated Erondu Jnr for his recent empowerment programme, describing it as massive and impressive, adding that it was unprecedented for a state legislator.
‎
‎He described Erondu Jnr as a grassroot politician loved by his people and called on the people of Obingwa LGA to support him and join the Renewed Hope Partners, a group promoting Tinubu’s agenda at the grassroots level.
‎
‎Responding, Erondu Jnr appreciated Kalu and promised that he will not let him down.
‎
‎He affirmed that Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 is not negotiable and expressed confidence that while other zones would deliver, Abia South would deliver 100 per cent.
‎
‎On whether he will join the APC, Erondu Jnr said he would consult widely with constituents and supporters before taking decision.
