Ahead of the All Progressives Congress, APC, State House of Assembly primaries slated for today, May 20, 2026, Lilian Chinasa Obenwa has declared her readiness to represent Isuikwuato State Constituency.
Speaking to newsmen, she lamented that women remain sidelined in the political landscape of the Abia House of Assembly.
Her supporters in the APC urged party loyalists across the 20 wards in Isuikwuato to stand firmly behind her candidacy, describing her leadership as inclusive, people-focused, and innovative.
Obenwa said she is poised to take leadership closer to the grassroots and serve the people of Isuikwuato directly.
She will contest the primaries against Isuikwuato Local Government Chairman, Chima Agbaeze, and other aspirants.
