All is set for the South-East Regional Security Summit 2026 as security stakeholders, traditional rulers, community leaders and senior veterans converge in Umuahia, Abia State, for strategic discussions on regional security and stability.
The summit, organised by the Federal Ministry of Defence in collaboration with the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement, South East, is themed: “Collaborative Approaches to Strengthening Security and Regional Stability.”
Participants are expected to deliberate on collaborative strategies to address security challenges in the South-East and promote lasting peace across the zone.
