Man Nabbed for Killing Neighbour with Shovel in Ebonyi

The Ebonyi State police command says it has arrested a man, Ezeoke Chidera for killing his 60 year old neighbour, Mrs. Rose Awoke

The Public Relations Officer of the command, Joshua Ukandu who disclosed this in a statement, said the incident occurred on Monday this week in Egugho, Ezzagu, Ishielu Local Government Area of the state.

He noted that the suspect attacked the deceased with a shovel and hit her several times when they had issue which led to her death.

The statement said, “Officers of the command were able to apprehend the suspect; the command is currently investigating to understand the motive of the brazen attack.”
