Abia First Lady, Mrs. Priscilla Otti, on Friday appreciated the resilience, sacrifices, and courage of individuals who stood firmly for the ideals of freedom, justice, and good governance as Nigerians celebrated Democracy Day.
In her Democracy Day message posted on X, Mrs. Otti paid special tribute to women whose voices, advocacy, and determination strengthened the foundations of Nigeria’s democracy.
She said their courage reminded citizens that lasting progress was built when people chose hope over fear and participation over silence.
The First Lady urged them to remain hopeful and confident. She noted that Abia witnessed a new chapter of transformation and purposeful leadership that changed the narrative and laid the foundation for a brighter future for generations to come.
