The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, and other party members have commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) on its successful and rancour-free ward and local government congresses in Abia State.
Speaking over the weekend, they credited the smooth conduct of the congresses to an inclusive approach, which, according to Kalu, has attracted new members and boosted party morale.
The Chairman of the state Congress Committee, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Goar, praised party members for their peaceful conduct and thanked Kalu for trusting local structures.
Goar expressed confidence that the momentum would carry through to the state-level congress, positioning Abia State as one of the best in the nation.
National Welfare Secretary, Chief Donatus Nwankpa, also lauded the party’s unity and the calm, inclusive nature of the exercises.
