Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has hosted the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, Imo State Governor and Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi, and former SGF, Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim.
The dignitaries were at the University of ICT, Oferekpe Agbaja, Izzi Local Government Area on Monday.
During the visit, Prof. Yilwatda commissioned the newly completed Prof. Fidelis Ogah Senior Staff Quarters. The state-of-the-art facility was built by the Nwifuru administration to provide quality accommodation for senior staff and enhance the university’s capacity to deliver excellence in teaching, research, and innovation.
Governor Nwifuru said the project underscores his administration’s commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure and advancing Ebonyi’s vision as a hub for technology, innovation, and human capital development.
He appreciated Prof. Yilwatda for performing the commissioning and Senator Uzodimma for his solidarity and support, adding that their presence reinforces the collective resolve to deliver impactful governance.
