‎Gunmen Kill Two Policemen in Anambra Ambush

‎Unidentified gunmen have killed two policemen along the Awa-Ndiukwuenu-Ufuma Road in Anambra State.

‎Southeastposts gathered that the attackers ambushed the officers on patrol on Sunday night and opened fire, leaving two bodies on the main road.
‎
‎Residents who witnessed the incident said gunshots were heard ahead, forcing motorists and tricycle riders to abandon their vehicles and flee into nearby bushes for safety.
‎
‎No official reaction has been made by the Anambra State Police Command as of the time of filing this report.
‎
‎The attack comes after months of relative calm in the state, following sustained security operations against criminal gangs, including gunmen masquerading as Biafra agitators.
