Former House of Assembly Leader Nwobo Dumps PDP for ADC in Ebonyi

‎As political parties and members gear up for the 2027 general elections, a former House of Assembly leader in Ebonyi State, Chief Emmanuel Ikechukwu Nwobo, has defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

‎Nwobo dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the platform on which he was elected a member of the state House of Assembly, and joined the Labour Party in 2022.

‎He has now dumped the Labour Party for the ADC. Nwobo registered for the party in his ward at the weekend.

‎The state chairman of the ADC, Dr Adibe-Nwafor Jenifer, confirmed his defection to the party.

‎She added that Nwobo has officially registered for the party in his ward.
