Following the reinstatement of Samuel Anyanwu as the National Secretary of the PDP, the Chairman of Abia State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, Elder Abraham Amah has said that this move has restored sanity in the party.

In a statement he issued on Wednesday in Umuahia, Amah said Anyanwu’s reinstatement came at a critical time in the life of PDP, maintaining that it was a necessary anchor for repositioning the collective strength and direction of the party.

The statement reads: “As Chairman of the PDP in Abia State, I salute the wisdom of the party’s leadership in standing by constitutional clarity and procedural fidelity.

“It is not for the fleeting winds of opportunism to dictate our path, but for reason, law and fidelity to structure to shape our future. Today, we witness the restoration of order over orchestrated ambiguity,” Amah said.

Amah called on all to jettison restraint, divisions and personal sentiment, and embrace all reconciliation and institutional stability in the main opposition party.

Southeastposts reports that Anyanwu’s reinstatement as the National Secretary was announced on Wednesday by Umar Damagun, the Acting National Chairman of the PDP during a press conference in Abuja.
