Ebonyi State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has conducted ward Congresses described as peaceful and orderly across the 171 wards in Ebonyi State.
Speaking during the ward Congress in Abakaliki, the APC chairmanship candidate for Abakaliki LGA, Hon.Chidiebere Alo, expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the ward Congress.
He described the exercise as peaceful and orderly, saying that in his assessment, the ward Congress is free and fair as all contestants expressed their happiness with the smooth conduct and peaceful environment.
Alo appreciated governor Francis Nwifuru for changing the narrative in Ebonyi State and for the human oriented government that has impacted positively on the lives of Ebonyi people.
Earlier in his address, the State Chairman of APC in Ebonyi State, Hon. Stanley Okoroemegha said the party leadership is well prepared for the Congress and will ensure a peaceful outing at the end of the exercise.
Contributing, the chairman of Board and LGA Congress in Ebonyi State, Barr. Rita Mmadu Agwu, said the ward Congress is peaceful in Ebonyi State, commending governor Francis Nwifuru for the wonderful work he is doing in Ebonyi State.
