‎Moghalu Resigns from LP

‎George Moghalu, former Anambra State Labour Party, LP, governorship candidate in the 2025 election, has resigned his membership of the party.

‎Posting on his verified X handle on Tuesday, Moghalu said his decision is with immediate effect.

‎The letter was dated January 26, 2026 and addressed to the Chairman of Ward 1, Labour Party, Uruagu, Nnewi.

‎He said, “I bring you the good wishes of my family and to formally inform you of my resignation from the Labour Party, effective today, the 26th of January, 2026,” the letter read.

‎Moghalu appreciated the party and its members for giving him the platform to run for governorship in the 2025 Anambra State governorship election.
