‎A legal practitioner and Senior Advocate of Nigeria ( SAN) based Owerri Imo State, Barr. Ngozi Olehi has appealed to the United Nations Authority to reform it’s operational policy and structure to ensure more power of intervention

‎The Senior Advocate said thr reform, if carried out would dismantle the strong hold of bad political leaders who commit atrocities and aggravate poverty and encourage genocide against a people, tribe or faith as it is noticed in some parts of the world.

‎He stated that sovereignty protects independent Nations from unnecessary foreign interference in their domestic affairs, noting that such wrong interference bring about bad economic situation, suffering and untold hardship thereby subjecting the citizens to degrading and inhuman actions.

‎Addressing journalists in Owerri, Imo State capital at the weekend, Olehi insisted that such unwanted situation must be stopped before it gets deeply rooted in the system.

‎He expressed worry that bad governance, looting of public funds and property, relentless breach of human right, money laundering, genocides, insecurity as a result of terrorism, kidnapping and other forms of organised crimes have become a common thing everywhere now.

‎The Senior Advocate insisted that the United Nations authority must do something urgently to stem these dangerous vices, stating that their persistence exterminates human lives and degrade the citizens

‎He further noted that bad political leaders thrived in the past because of the docility of the United Nations and other international organisations and advised that limiting the doctrine of sovereignty can help curb bad governance and reduce mass suffering.
