A former Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in his Mbutu ward, Aboh Mbaise.
Speaking while joining the party, the former Governor said his new party will take over Imo and Nigeria in 2027.
Ihedioha made the remark after registering with ADC, insisting that his Mbutu ward will deliver a landslide victory for the party.
Also speaking, ADC State Chairman, Dr. James Okoroma, welcomed Ihedioha and described his ward as a political headquarter.
Contributing, the South East zonal Vice chairman of the party, Chief Bon Unachukwu, appreciated Ihedioha and the Mbutu ward and expressed satisfaction with the level of supporters that have come to register with the former deputy Speaker of the federal House of Assembly.
Deputy National Coordinator of the Diaspora Network, Alhaji Bello Maigari Kasimu, who accompanied Ihedioha at the event said Ihedioha has large supporters, expressing confidence that the party will produce the next leaders both in the state and country in 2027.
