Otti Appoints Ememanka as DG Abia State Strategic Communications Bureau

Governor, Alex Otti of Abia State has appointed Onyebuchi Ememanka as the Director General, Abia State Strategic Communications Bureau.

‎Recall that Ememanka served as the Chief Press Secretary to immediate past Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu during the former Governor’s second tenure.
‎
‎In May 2025, Ememanka announced his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and declared his support for Government Governor Otti’s administration.
‎
‎In a government special announcement on Sunday, signed by Ferdinand Ekeoma, the Special Adviser to Governor Otti on Media and Publicity, he announced the appointment of Ememanka.
‎
‎Otti also appointed Igwe Samuel Obinna as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media.
‎
‎The statement added that the appointments take effect from December 1, 2025.
