Governor Alex Otti on Sunday commissioned the 55-room ORIS Signature Hotel located along Okigwe Road, Aba, describing it as a significant addition to the city’s growing hospitality and investment landscape.
Otti, who disclosed this on his X handle, commended the Chief Executive Officer of the hotel, Owelle Greg Okafor, for delivering the project within two years and a few months.
According to the Governor, the feat is a clear demonstration of what is possible when vision, enterprise, and a conducive business environment come together.
He recalled that when his administration assumed office, Aba faced significant challenges, including poor road infrastructure and struggling industries, but noted that the narrative is changing with businesses returning, property values rising and new investments taking shape.
Otti therefore invited investors who previously relocated from Abia, as well as prospective investors, to return and take advantage of the opportunities created by his administration.
“What we have achieved so far is only the beginning. With more projects, including the soon-to-be-completed Radisson Blu Enyimba Hotel, Aba will continue to grow as a major economic hub,” Otti stated.
The Governor also acknowledged distinguished guests, friends and well-wishers who graced the occasion, while congratulating the management of ORIS Signature Hotel.
“Together, we will continue to build an Abia where businesses and investments can thrive and opportunities abound,” he added.
