Fight Against Crime: Abia CP Hands over 6 Refurbished Vehicles to Officers

In an effort to ensure swift response to security challenges in Abia State, the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, has handed over six (6) refurbished patrol vehicles to various formations and units within the Command.

The gesture according to a statement by the Public Relations Officer PPRO, Abia State Police Command, DSP Maureen Chinaka, is aimed at ensuring proficiency, efficiency and promptness to crime related issues.

CP Danladi Isa, while handing over the refurbished vehicles to State Traffic Office, Umuahia, Scorpion Squad, Aba, Mbala Divisional Headquarters, Nkporo Divisional Headquarters, Umuoba Divisional Headquarters and the newly established Abia State Police Band, charged them to deploy them in fighting crime in the society.

According to the statement, CP Isa appreciated the Government of Abia State for its continued support, which made the refurbishment of the vehicles possible.

He further tasked the officers to make judicious use of the vehicles in line with their core mandate of combating crime and responding promptly to the security needs of Abians.

The statement reads in part, “Today, 6/08/2025, the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, handed over six (6) refurbished patrol vehicles to various formations and units within the Command.
