National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has stated that the party is being repositioned to take over power in Abia.

The party’s National Youth Leader, Mr Chuks Nwoga, said this while speaking with journalists, after the stakeholders’ meeting in Umuahia on Thursday.

He revealed that the party was not only ready to participate and win the upcoming Local Government elections but set to take over the political space in the state.

Nwoga, spoke on behalf of the  Reconciliation and Harmonisation Committee, adding that APGA is one and has come to stay in Abia just as he further said that the meeting was in line with the party’s programme since July 9, when the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recognised Chief Edozie Njoku as its National Chairman.

He said that the committee had since July 9 been on tour to 19 states, including Abia, toward harmonising and reconciling the party faithful.

Nwoga hinted that their mission in Abia was to restore peace and address the crisis rocking the party in the state.

According to him, every member has come together to build the party under Njoku.
