(ASPs) during CP\u2019s Conference held at the Command Headquarters in Owerri the state capital, the Police boss emphasised the policy of the command.<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\n\u200eIn a statement issued in Owerri on Wednesday, the Commissioner noted that the ceremony marked a significant milestone for the officers, who were recently elevated to the rank of Inspectors.<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\n\u200eAddressing the promoted officers during the ceremony, the statement further said CP reminded them that promotion comes with greater responsibility and accountability.<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\n\u200eHe urged them to lead by example in conduct and service delivery.<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\n\u200eThe CP charged Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), Tactical Team Commanders, and Heads of Departments to align with the command\u2019s zero tolerance for misconduct and unprofessional conduct, warning officers against extortion, harassment, high-handedness, and any abuse of office in interactions with members of the public.<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\n\u200eThe statement explained that the directive followed the recent dismissal of three personnel found guilty of gross misconduct after thorough investigations and orderly room trials.<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\n\u200eCP Bosso emphasised that no officer would be shielded from accountability, and that supervisory officers would also be held responsible for lapses under their command.<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\n\u200eThe Commissioner further disclosed that he will conduct unscheduled visits to police cells, checkpoints, and divisions across the State to ensure strict adherence to professional standards and operational guidelines.<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\n\u200eHe cautioned Officers against violations of human rights, including unlawful detention, arrest by proxy, and interference in civil matters.<br \/>\n\u200e<br \/>\n\u200eThe statement added that the Imo State Police Command remains committed to professionalism, accountability, and protection of the rights of all citizens, while sustaining the fight against crime and criminality in the
