{"id":3570,"date":"2025-01-23T05:58:39","date_gmt":"2025-01-23T05:58:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southeastposts.com\/?p=3570"},"modified":"2025-01-23T05:58:39","modified_gmt":"2025-01-23T05:58:39","slug":"alleged-infidelity-middle-aged-man-sets-wife-ablaze-in-anambra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southeastposts.com\/index.php\/2025\/01\/23\/alleged-infidelity-middle-aged-man-sets-wife-ablaze-in-anambra\/","title":{"rendered":"Alleged Infidelity: Middle-aged Man Sets Wife Ablaze in Anambra"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.1429rem\">A middle aged man, identified as Mr. Sunday Obiozor Nwaka of Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area (LGA), Anambra state has allegedly set his wife ablaze over alleged infidelity.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to reports Nwaka, reportedly poured fuel on his wife and mother of six children, Mrs Blessing Chioma Nwaka, and set fire on her immediately after accusing her of flirting around with men.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The incident which occurred on Tuesday left the victim scampering for safety while carrying a 3rd degree burn on her body.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Meanwhile, Anambra state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Tochukwu Ikenga, who had confirmed the incident said the victim later died around 3am on Wednesday, adding that her husband had also been arrested while investigation into the matter has commenced.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Similarly, Anambra state governor\u2019s wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo, has vowed to follow up closely on the case so as to ensure that justice is served on the late woman.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A statement by Mrs Soludo\u2019s aide, Mr Daniel Ezigwe, revealed that the Governor&#8217;s wife described the incident as gruesome and evil, adding that Mrs Soludo vowed to see to the end of the case, insisting that the full justice must be made to take prime place in the whole process.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A middle aged man, identified as Mr. Sunday Obiozor Nwaka of Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area (LGA), Anambra state has allegedly set his wife ablaze over alleged infidelity.
