{"id":1949,"date":"2024-07-30T12:58:41","date_gmt":"2024-07-30T12:58:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southeastposts.com\/?p=1949"},"modified":"2024-07-30T13:00:37","modified_gmt":"2024-07-30T13:00:37","slug":"troops-of-operation-udo-ka-neutralise-members-of-ipob-esn-in-enugu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southeastposts.com\/index.php\/2024\/07\/30\/troops-of-operation-udo-ka-neutralise-members-of-ipob-esn-in-enugu\/","title":{"rendered":"Troops of Operation UDO KA Neutralise Members of IPOB, ESN in Enugu"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.1429rem\">Soldiers under the Joint Task Force South-East, codenamed \u201cOperation UDO KA\u201d, said they have neutralised two members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafara (IPOB) and its armed wing, Eastern Security Network (ESN) while attempting to enforce illegal sit-at-home order.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The soldiers in collaboration with other security agencies such as the Nigerian Navy, Police, Department of State Services and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, neutralised the hoodlums on Monday, July 29.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Operation UDO KA revealed this in a statement on its platform on Tuesday in Enugu where it noted that the troops on patrol sighted three Toyota Sienna and a Toyota Highlander vehicles approaching their axis of advace from Ogboahia general area in Abia State.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to the statement, the gallant troops pursued the terrorists and contact was made.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The statement reads, \u201cDuring the encounter, two IPOB sit-at-home enforcers were neutralised and one of their Sienna vehicles burnt. Follow-up on the operations and further exploitation led to the recovery of one Toyota Highlander, one Toyota Sienna, one Kodak camera, Techno phone and cutlasses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Operation UDO KA, admonished the good people of South-East to continue cooperating with security agencies by giving credible and timely information that will help to annihilate the criminals in the region.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Operation UDO KA, also enjoined the people of South-East to give relevant information to Operation UDO KA by dialing 193 and press Option 2 on their phone.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The statement also stated that the Joint Task Force pledged to continue carrying out its constitutional roles of safeguarding lives and property in line with global best practices as laid down in the rules of engagement guiding its operations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Soldiers under the Joint Task Force South-East, codenamed \u201cOperation UDO KA\u201d, said they have neutralised two members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafara (IPOB) and its armed wing, Eastern Security Network (ESN) while attempting to enforce illegal sit-at-home order.
