‎EFCC Arrests Man over N10m Land Fraud in Enugu

‎The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Ifeanyi Mba for allegedly defrauding a complainant of N10 million for a plot of land in Enugu State.

‎The land, allegedly located at Plot 677, Owo/Premier Layout, Ogui Nike, turned out to be problematic.
‎
‎The complainant paid Mba for the land, but later found unknown individuals constructing on it.
‎
‎Southeastposts reports that Mba allegedly claimed the land belonged to the government and became unreachable when asked to refund the money.
‎
‎EFCC’s investigation revealed inconsistencies in the land’s description, with no government-acquired layout matching Plot 677 Owo/Premier.
‎
‎Meanwhile, the suspect will be arraigned upon completion of investigations.
