‎Abia Govt Announces Cancelation of December Sanitation Exercise

Abia State government has cancelled the monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise for the month of December earlier billed to hold tomorrow, Saturday, 20th December, 2025.

‎A release signed by the Commissioner for Environment, Mr Philemon Ogbonna and issued to newsmen on Friday, advised residents to clean their surroundings, homes, offices, markets, and business premises, in the interest of public health and to maintain healthy environment throughout the yuletide season.
‎
‎The statement noted that there will be no restriction of movement, saying that Abians are free to go about their lawful activities and businesses.
‎
‎Abia State Government used the medium to appreciate the co-operation and understanding of all residents and their efforts at ensuring that Abia State remains clean and healthy.
