The lawmaker representing Obingwa-West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has felicitated with the former Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Ph.D., on the occasion of his 61st birthday.
In a goodwill message, signed by his Spokesperson, George Egejuru and made available to newsmen, Erondu Jnr described Dr. Ikpeazu as a visionary leader, scholar, and statesman whose life embodies humility, intellect, and a deep commitment to service.
The Chairman, House Committee on Public Service, lauded the former governor for his transformational leadership between 2015 and 2023, noting that his administration left indelible marks in infrastructure renewal, economic empowerment, and human capital development.
According to the former Special Adviser to Governor Ikpeazu on General Duties, “Dr. Ikpeazu’s Made-in-Aba Initiative not only revived local enterprise but also projected the ingenuity and resilience of the Abia spirit to the global stage.”
The former Chairman, Obingwa Local Government Area, further commended the former governor’s calm disposition, analytical mind, and inclusive leadership style, which, he said, fostered unity and participatory governance across the state.
“Even beyond public office, Dr. Ikpeazu continues to inspire through his commitment to community service, education, youth empowerment, and leadership mentorship,” Erondu added.
The Uhie-born legislator prayed for God’s continued blessings, good health, and wisdom upon the former governor as he marks this new milestone.
