The Diocese of Isiala Ngwa South, has joined in congratulating Obinna Oriaku, a former Commissioner of Finance in Abia State on his well deserved appointment as the Commissioner representing Abia in the Federal Character Commission, FCC.
In a statement signed by Dr. CP Edwin, JP, the Administrative Assistant and the Archbishop, Ecclesiastical Province of Aba and Bishop of Isiala Ngwa South Diocese, he described the appointment as a testament to proven integrity, competence, and commitment to service of Oriaku.
He expressed optimism that having earned this appointment through years of dedication, hard work among others, Oriaku will discharge his responsibilities with the fear of God, fairness, and dedication, in line with the Commission’s mandate of promoting equity and inclusiveness in our nation.
The statement reads: “On behalf of His Grace, Most Rev. Isaac C. Nwaobia Ph.D. JP, the faithful of Diocese of Isiala Ngwa South and the body of Christ, I write to congratulate you on your well-deserved appointment as the Commissioner representing Abia State in the Federal Character Commission.
“Your appointment is a testament to your proven integrity, competence, and commitment to service. His Grace is confident that you will discharge this responsibility with the fear of God, fairness, and dedication, in line with the Commission’s mandate of promoting equity and inclusiveness in our nation.
“The Diocese prays that God will grant you the wisdom, strength, and discernment needed to excel in this new assignment, and that your tenure will bring pride, honour, and positive impact to Abia State; the South East, and Nigeria at large.
