Abia State Government has announced the official release of the list of successful applicants in the ongoing 2025 teachers recruitment exercise.
The announcement, made in a press statement signed by Dr. Uzoamaka Amah-Mbah, Chairman of the Recruitment Committee on Tuesday, stated that applicants who participated in the interview stage can now check the recruitment portal on the Ministry’s website to view the list.
The release, outlined key dates, eligibility criteria, and steps for those with pending academic certificate issues to present their certificates from May 14 to 15, 2025, at the Board Room, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Abia State Secretariat at 9am.
Applicants are also advised to ensure they bring along original copies of their academic and NYSC certificates, pointing out that statement of result would not be accepted from persons who have graduated 5 years and above.
According to the release, those disqualified on age grounds can also appeal and provide evidence to support their claim during the same period.
Meanwhile, successful applicants are expected to print their appointment letters from the 19th of May, 2025 from the recruitment portal.
The statement warned that candidates who provide falsified documents will be prosecuted.
