The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa has charged officers and men of the command to uphold the core values of the Nigeria Police Force by cultivating excellent relationships with members of the public by approaching them with civility and respect.
A release by the Police Public Relations Officer Abia State Command, DSP Maureen Chilaka, revealed that CP Isa gave the charge on Monday in Umuahia while addressing officers serving at the State Headquarters.
The CP further reiterated the importance of discipline, dedication to duty, and commitment adding that there will be reward for good conduct to serve as positive reinforcement.
The statement reads: “Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, addressed officers serving at the State Headquarters today, April 28, 2025.
“He emphasized the need for officers to project a positive image for the Force at all times, encouraging them to cultivate excellent relationship with members of the public and engage with civility and respect.
“The CP further reiterated the importance of discipline, dedication to duty, and commitment, urging every officer to uphold the core values of the Nigeria Police Force. He warned that absenteeism, lateness to duty, and acts of extortion would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
“He concluded by stating that there will be reward for good conduct to serve as positive reinforcement”.
