Supporters of Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Otti, under the banner of Otti Ambassadors, convened in Obuohia-Itaja Civic Hall, Olokoro, in a bid to foster unity, transparency, and a renewed political direction within Umuahia South Local Government Area.
The well-attended meeting, which brought together delegates from Ahiaukwu Olokoro Wards 1 and 2, was spearheaded by Ambassador Moses Onyegbule.
In his keynote address, Onyegbule emphasized the need for members to embody the values of integrity and accountability exemplified by Governor Otti
He described the movement as a platform not only for political engagement but also for character transformation rooted in good governance.
Reinforcing the call for cohesion, ward coordinators, including Mr. Ochonma Ugochukwu, urged members to discard internal divisions and build a united political front.
“The strength of any political movement lies in its unity,” Ugochukwu said, encouraging members to uphold the spirit of solidarity and collective responsibility.
Mr. Steve Onyemaechi, General Secretary, echoed similar sentiments, stating that the core purpose of the gathering was harmonization.
According to him, reconciliation and strategic planning would pave the way for effective grassroots mobilization and long-term political relevance in the state.
Eze Chinago, Vice Chairman of Ward 1, also addressed the assembly, calling on members to actively “preach the gospel of Dr. Otti” and to become ambassadors of good governance in their communities.
He highlighted the governor’s reforms in transparency and development as guiding principles for all members.
The meeting concluded with the induction of new members into the organization, signaling a growing support base.
Participants described the gathering as timely and crucial, as the Otti Ambassadors gear up to deepen their grassroots reach and strengthen their presence across Abia State.
