Abia State Government has announced the official closure of the Portal for the ongoing Abia State Teachers Recruitment Online Application.
A release signed by the Recruitment committee for Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Elder Goodluck Ubochi, and issued to newsmen on Monday, stated that the Portal will close on Tuesday 11th February, 2025 by midnight.
According to the Committee, shortlisted candidates for the computer based test would be sent SMS or email notifications while applicants can also check for the update about the recruitment process on the recruitment portal using their User ID and password.
The release added that shortlisted candidates who met the requisite advertised qualifications would be notified on the computer based test subject areas and test dates for which they would be allowed a period of two weeks to prepare.
Throwing more light on this, the release revealed that based on the performance in the computer based test exercise, cut off performance level would be set while those who attain the set performance level would be invited for Oral interview.
The release further stated that candidates who passed the oral interview would be notified to proceed for Certificate Verification while those recorded inconsistent will be disqualified.
