Abia State Government has reacted to circulating scam post about a ₦25,000 Christmas Cash Grant from Governor Alex Otti.
In a Facebook post by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Otti, Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, the post is a deliberate criminal attempt to deceive and scam the unsuspecting public.
He advised the public to ignore the scam as the Law Enforcement Agencies have been alerted to investigate and apprehend the fraudsters.
The release added that all social investment, welfare and intervention programmes of the Governor and government of Abia State are published on the Official Website of Abia State Government.
