A Governorship aspirant on the platform of Labour Party in the 2025 Governorship Election in Anambra State, Mr. John Chuma Nwosu has cautioned that members of the Obidient Movement must learn from the mistakes made by Labour Party in Imo and Edo governorship election.
Nwosu dropped the advice on Saturday at the Obidient Movement South-East Good Governance Symposium at All Saints Cathedral Auditorium Onitsha.
He noted that the Movement has witnessed influx of new members who are not familiar with the vision of the movement.
According to him, he wants to be involved because dividends of democracy are not working “for our people in Nigeria and also for us here in Anambra. So, we need leadership changes that will bring about a New Nigeria that is Possible. Charity begins at home; so we will start here. I Obidiently offered myself to serve”.
He listed his seven Pillars of good governance which he prioritizes into “seven key sectors, namely; Security, Health, Education, Economy, Enterprise, Market, and Social Welfare (SHEEEMS), which will provide a holistic approach to addressing Anambra’s unmet needs and development challenges.
Nwosu promised to replicate Anambra Integrated Development Strategy (ANIDS) which was adopted by Mr. Peter Obi as Governor improve on it.
