Nnobi women have called on Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo to continue to spread democracy dividend across the state to secure support of women come 2025 election in the state.
Chief (Mrs) Ifeyinwa Nnekwelugo, President-General Iyom Nnobi, the woman wing of Nnobi Welfare Organization, stated this during the Annual Iyom Nnobi Summit at Nnobi near Nnewi, at the weekend.
Mrs. Nnekwelugo who said that the Summit was an annual event during that allow women from the three quarters of the town namely Ebenesi, Ngo and Awuda converge to parley and lend their hand to support development of Nnobi and Anambra State, said that Iyom Nnobi would continue to contribute meaningfully to the development of Anambta State.
She added that the women would support any political party that has the interest of women, children and youth at the forefront of its developmental policy come 2025 governorship election in Amambra.
The event attracted top woman politicians and business women from across the state among who included Idemili South Local Government Council Chairperson, Honourable Amaka Obi, the member representing Idemili South in the State House of Assembly, Honourable Ebuka Igwe, Dr. (Mrs) Ezeonu among other personalities.
