Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma on Friday said President Bola Tinubu has dismantled cabals siphoning the country’s resources.
The Governor emphasized that cabals were the ones sponsoring the ongoing nationwide protest against Tinubu despite benefiting from Nigeria’s resources, insisting that President Tinubu has defeated them.
In a statement issued to newsmen on Friday, Governor Uzodimma lauded the people of the South-East for boycotting the nationwide protest.
While noting that peaceful protest is a right of the citizens, Uzodinma, stressed that Tinubu has shown commitment in addressing the challenges bedeviling the country.
Governor Uzodimma said, “I commend our people of the South Eastern region for heeding our appeal not to join the nationwide protest. Your wisdom in recognizing the potential danger of hijackers targeting peaceful demonstrators is truly commendable.
“While peaceful protest is undoubtedly a right of the people, your decision to prioritize safety and stability showcases great prudence”.
