Developing Infrastructure Key to Economic Growth and Development ~ Gov Nwifuru

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru, has stated that developing infrastructure in Ebonyi State will lay a solid foundation for economic growth, development and advancement in the State.

Governor Nwifuru, who dropped the hint on Tuesday via his verified X account, @FrancisNwifuru, stated that complete transportation infrastructure like the one his administration is embarking on at Vanco Junction, Abakaliki, is germane to enhancing the movement of Ebonyi people and their goods and services.

He stated that the importance of the project when completed cannot be overstated as it will decongest the area by ensuring free flow of movement, create efficient networks to enhance connectivity.

The Governor added that other benefits include: reduction of transportation costs just as it will create a beautiful atmosphere for investment opportunities.

He said, “Developing our infrastructure is a solid foundation for economic growth and development. Effective transportation infrastructure like the one we are putting up at our famous Vanco Junction, Abakaliki, is fundamental in facilitating movement of our people, goods and services.

“It will decongest the area, create efficient networks to enhance connectivity, reduce transportation costs and create a beautiful atmosphere for investment opportunities.

Governor Nwifuru, called on the people of Ebonyi State to appreciate the potentials derivable from the infrastructure if completed by his administration.
