Former Senate President and PDP Board of Trustees Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara, has assured members that the party will not die, despite internal leadership squabbles.
Addressing fears about PDP’s fate, Wabara declared the party will bounce back, repositioned for future electoral victories.
Wabara made this promise while flagging off PDP’s online membership registration in Umuahia, Abia State, saying efforts are ongoing to resolve party issues.
He appreciated Abia PDP Chairman, Hon. Ikpegbu Emeka-Yellow, for demonstrating leadership capacity and advised him to avoid past mistakes, promoting equal opportunities for all members.
Wabara urged members to register en masse, emphasising that rebuilding the party will yield quicker dividends with inclusive leadership. “The PDP can never die,” he declared.
The event featured a stakeholders’ meeting and inauguration of Local Government Caretaker Committee leadership.
