Yuletide: Keep Details of Travels Personal, Enugu Police Command Advises

0

‎The Enugu Police Command has warned against posting personal travel plans, locations, and itineraries on social media during the yuletide.

‎The command gave the advise to residents on Wednesday, warning them to keep such personal details within their families.

‎This is contained in a security and safety advisory issued by the command’s spokesman, SP Daniel Ndukwe in Enugu.

‎The PPRO urged residents using public transportation to travel only with reputable transport companies operating from recognised motor parks.

‎He charged residents to avoid boarding roadside vehicles or unregistered transport services to avoid cases of “one-chance.”

‎Mr Ndukwe cautioned that high speed increases the risk of accidents, stressing that residents must avoid night journeys, driving in poor visibility, and consuming alcohol before and during driving.

‎The spokesperson provided the command’s emergency numbers: 08032003702 or 08086671202, and the Enugu State Command-and-Control Centre as 112, 09134666668, or 09134448093.

‎He urged residents to pray and entrust their journeys and celebrations to God.
