‎Alleged Multiple Visa Fraud: Imo CP Orders Investigation of TMT Travels & Tours Ltd

The Commissioner of Police in Imo, CP Aboki Danjuma, has called for investigation into TMT Travels & Tours Ltd. following allegations of multiple visa fraud.

‎Danjuma disclosed this in a statement by the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Henry Okoye, on Friday in Owerri.

‎‎The Imo CP stated that several complainants received so far, accused the firm of obtaining money under false pretenses of processing visa.

‎‎He said, “As part of the investigation, nine Nigerian passports have been recovered.

‎“The CEO of TMT Travels & Tours, Mr Ifeanyi Onwukwubiri, has equally been invited for questioning to assist the Police in ascertaining facts.”

‎The police commissioner enjoined Imo residents to exercise due diligence before engaging in any visa or travel schemes.

‎‎CP Danjuma also appealed to the public to remain calm while the investigation continues, stating that further details on the findings would be communicated in due course.

‎‎Reacting, TMT Travels & Tours boss, Onwukwubiri, stated that customers who no longer wish to proceed with their visa applications could request refunds.

‎He added that it was part of measures taken by the company amid ongoing investigations to address client concerns
