The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, has directed Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers and Tactical Team Commanders to ensure that security coverage is extended to schools.
Other areas the CP called for strict surveillance include: worship centers and other critical government infrastructures within their areas of jurisdiction.
A statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Maureen Chinaka, said CP Isa gave the directive on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025 while on a security tour of Obehie, Ugwunagbo, CPS Aba, Owerrenta, Ubakala, CPS Umuahia, Area Command Aba, Area Command Umuahia and other Divisions and Area Commands across the state.

The statement further added that CP Isa was in company of the Command’s Tactical Teams during the security awareness tour.
