Association Of Igbo Town Unions Felicitate Abia At 34

The association of Igbo town unions, Abia State chapter has felicitated Abians on the 34th Anniversary of creation of the state.

Addressing newsmen in Umuahia, the President General Association of Igbo town unions, Abia State chapter, Chief Sir George Mgborukwe appreciated God for sustaining the state towards the part of development and in setbacks within the period under review and urged Abians to continue to work for the progress of the state, because when the righteous is on the throne the people rejoice.

Sir Mgborukwe on behalf of members of the Association, saluted the Governor, Dr Alex Otti on his impactful and people oriented Administration in the state, pointing out that the leadership Prowers of the Governor has distinguished him as God fearing man, who is determined to leave indelible footprints in the administration of the state.

The President General noted that since creation of the state 34 years ago, God has used the incumbent Governor Otti to actualize the yarnings of the people and wipe away our tears to enjoy democracy dividends and appealed to the people to continue to pray for the protection and direction of God to the Governor.

He used the medium to call on those who just attend the age of 18, those who changed residence and those who lost their voters cards to utilize the medium to register and obtain their voters cards.
