Abia Govt Officially Releases Posting Letters of Successful Teachers

Abia State Government through the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has announced the official released posting letters for successful applicants in the 2025 Teachers Recruitment Exercise.

In a release personally signed by the Commissioner Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Elder Goodluck Ubochi, dated 28th, July 2025, charged Applicants to report to their place of assignment on or before September 1,2025.

The release informed Applicants that postings outside their LGA of residence or origin were necessitated as the schools in most applicants LGA of residence or origin could not accommodate the number of persons resident or originating from them.

Similarly, the release advised Applicants who feel that their place of posting poses severe challenges to call the Ministry’s help lines on 0913444706/09135007067 or use the complaint link on their dashboard to apply for reposting consideration while stating clearly the challenges the posting poses to them.

The statement also reminded Applicants that application for reposting does not guarantee reposting as it was clearly stated in the offer of appointment, that candidates are liable to posting or transferring to any part of Abia State at any time in the interest of the board for selfless commitment and dedication.

“Applicants should know that postings outside their LGA of residence or origin were necessitated as the schools in most applicants LGA of residence or origin could not accommodate the number of persons resident or originating from them.

“Applicants who however feel that their place of posting poses severe challenges should call the Ministry’s help lines 0913444706/09135007067 or use the complaint link on their dashboard to apply for reposting consideration stating clearly the challenges the posting poses to them.

“Note that application for reposting does not guarantee reposting as it was clearly stated in the offer of appointment, that candidates are liable to posting or transferring to any part of Abia State at any time in the interest of the board for selfless commitment and dedication.”
