Chief Chuku Wachuku, the Senatorial candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), in the 2023 general election has announced his resignation from the party.
In a letter sighted by Southeastposts, personally endorsed by Chief Chuku Wachuku and addressed to the Chairman, Young Progressives Party (YPP), Ward 10 Umuomainta Nbawsi, Isiala Ngwa North, LGA of Abia State, he thanked the entire party structure for the opportunity given him through their platform to seek election into the Nigerian Senate during the 2023 general elections.

The former DG, National Directorate of Employment, NDE, appreciated his numerous followers and supporters across Abia Central District and Abians in general for their genuine commitment and support all these years.
Chief Wachuku who did not reveal his next line of action, promised that in the coming days and weeks, he will inform his followers, supporters and all those who look up to him for leadership of his next political destination.
The statement reads, “Please accept this letter as formal notice of my resignation from the Young Progressives Party – YPP effective immediately. I thank you and the entire party structure for the opportunity and platform provided by the party to seek election into the Nigerian Senate during the 2023 general elections.
“Similarly, I most sincerely thank my numerous followers and supporters across Abia Central District and of course, Abians at large for your genuine commitment and support over this period.
“In the days and weeks ahead, I shall, after wide consultations, make known my next line of action, to my followers, supporters and all those who look up to me for leadership. “he concluded.
