As the political alignment and realignment continues, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Isiala Ngwa North, Hon. Dr Alex Chidi Chibuikem, has made case for the people of South-East to align with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Dr. Chibuikem said the people of South-East, has not had it so good like this in the history of the zone, saying President Tinubu has shown that he has the interest of the zone at heart and ready to sacrifice more for them in the years ahead.
In a statement he personally endorsed and issued to Southeastposts on Wednesday, titled, “the People of South-East Must Align Now to Consolidate”, Dr. Chibuikem contended that the realignment must start now so as to ensure that the people of South-East do not miss the goodies the President has in store for them.
According to him, “The President has done marvelously well. He has continued to show interest in what concerns the zone. If you even talk about governance, recall he removed the subsidy regime that enriched few individuals to the detriment of Nigeria.
“Going by this singular gesture, why would anyone try to resist re-electing a man who had such courage to say enough is enough. We in the South-East should not be asking ourselves or showing signs of hesitations regarding adopting President Tinubu as our sole candidate for 2027. We have seen others in the past, but President Tinubu is the real deal,”
Dr. Chibuikem reminded the people of Abia State, that the era of sitting on the fence and expect magic was over, advising them to support the re-election of President Tinubu whom according to him, is poised to change the old story of the people of South-East and Abia State.
The 2023 Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency also called on the people of Nsulu, Amachi and his Achi- udo Ward 1, to align now to avoid regretting, emphasizing that they cannot continue complaining when the solution they seek, is steering at their faces.
Dr. Chibuikem also commended the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu for his various peace Initiatives in the South-East region,
He particularly lauded him for inaugurating over 20,000 new members of the Renewed Hope Partners Bende, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, highlighting its significant achievements in economic revitalization, social welfare, security, and national development.
The Nsulu born politician also used the opportunity to felicitate with Nigerians on this year’s Democracy Day. He commended the resilience, doggedness and optimism of Nigerians in the face of various daunting challenges and prayed for peace and relief for all.
Dr. Chibuikem appealed to Nigerians to keep hope alive, expressing optimism that the Nation would be great again if all continue to play their roles towards the advancement of the country.
