Gov Otti to Flag-off Two Critical Road Projects in Umuahia

In fulfillment of his promises to Ndi Abia and in line with the infrastructural development agenda of his administration, Governor Alex Otti, is set to flag-off the construction of two critical road projects in Umuahia.

A release by the Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu, stated that the road projects to be flagged-off include: the- Orpet-Umuafai Ahieke- Lodu road(4.32km) and the Ahieke – Okwuta-Bende road(3.79km).

According to the release, the flag-off will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 by 11:00 am while venue is at Craneburg Site Office, along Lodu-Ahiaeke Road.

Kanu, revealed that the roads, which for long have been in a deplorable state, will be constructed to modern standards, to ensure smoother transportation, enhanced economic activities, and improved connectivity for residents and businesses in the state capital.

The release, reaffirmed that Governor Otti- led administration remains unwavering in its commitment to deliver quality infrastructure that will drive sustainable development and improve the lives of all Abians.

The Abia Information boss further stated that Governor Alex Otti, will be joined by top government officials, stakeholders, and members of the public for this landmark event, advising all invited guests and attendees to be seated before the arrival of the Governor and his entourage.
