Gunmen Reportedly Kill Unspecified Number of Policemen in Ohafia

Southeastposts has gathered that gunmen have reportedly killed an unspecified number of policemen in Ohafia local government area of Abia state.

It was gathered that the tragic incident reportedly occurred in Ebem, Asaga area at about 7:30 am on Wednesday, November 20.

According to reports, sources said the area has been deserted as residents scampered for safety.

Southeastposts reports that this is coming few days after gunmen ambushed and attacked police officers killing an inspector who was providing security for a federal lawmaker, Hon Ginger Onwusibe.

Meanwhile, the state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Maureen Chinaka, is yet to comment on the unfortunate incident on Wednesday.
