I’ll Convince Defected Members to Return to Party, PDP Newly Elected Chairman in Ebonyi Vows

Newly elected Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ebonyi State chapter, Nweke Peter has vowed to convince all the defected members to return back to their party and reclaim the State.

Nwele stated this during the state ward congress that produced him as the chairman held at PDP Secretariat at the weekend.

According to the brand new chairman, bringing the defected members back to their party will be a formidable force to take over the state in 2027.

Southeastposts.com, gathered that the Congress was supervised by the 7-man committee from the National Secretariat of the Party (NWC), National Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), and security agencies.

Meanwhile, Ugonna Ogbonna, Chairman of the Congress committee, described the exercise as peaceful and transparent and commended members of the party for conducting themselves orderly.

Also speaking, the National Vice Chairman, South East of the party, Chief Ali Odefa said the enthusiasm and love for PDP in the state and the country in general was still very strong.

He said the party was putting things together to wrestle power from APC in 2027 which he described as opposition party.
