Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, a prominent leader in Bende, has thrown his weight behind the ticket of Deacon Uwabunkeonye Bassey and Hon. Mrs. Ngozi Anya, the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) candidates for Chairman and Deputy Chairman of Bende in the forthcoming Local Government election.
Speaking recently in Bende during the campaign launch of the Bassey/Anya ticket, Chief Chinasa particularly praised the choice of Deacon Bassey for the office of chairman, describing him as “a resourceful and progressive mind who can lead positive change”
Chief Chinasa, pledged to mobilize the people of Bende to ensure the victory of Bassey and Anya.
He expressed his belief that the transformative leadership style of Dr. Alex Otti will rub off on the Bassey/Anya team positively and cause them to work for the speedy development of Bende.
He charged the people of Bende to troop out in their numbers on 2nd November to support and cast their votes for the candidates of ZLP in the council and ward elections.
According to Chief Chinasa the ZLP administration in Bende will prioritize the wellbeing of the people and bring meaningful progress to the local government.
With only few days to the Local Government election in Abia, the ZLP is positioning itself as a strong contender and a party to beat at the polls, and Chief Chinasa’s endorsement is seen by political onlookers as a significant development that could seal victory for the party in Bende.
