Governor Uzodimma Reacts to Death of Heartland FC Coach

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has commiserated with the family of Coach Christian Obi, the Heartland FC family and everyone affected by this tragedy.

Recall that Christian Power Obi, the head coach of Heartland FC, died on Friday from injuries sustained after the team bus was involved in a crash in Okigwe, Imo.

Reacting to the demise of Coach Christian Obi via his verified X handle @Hope_Uzodimma1 on Monday, the Governor, said he is deeply saddened by the tragic accident that claimed the life of Coach Obi whom he described as a perfect gentleman whose dedication to Heartland FC was evident in every aspect of his work.

Governor Uzodimma, “Coach Obi poured his heart and expertise into the club, always striving to see it flourish. His passion, leadership and kindness touched the lives of many, and his loss will be felt profoundly by all who knew him.

“My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, the Heartland FC family and everyone affected by this tragedy. May God grant you all the strength to endure this painful loss and bring you comfort in the days ahead. The Government is ensuring that those hospitalized fully recover from the injuries”.
